SERVPRO Helps Gulf Coast Cleanup After Hurricane Sarah

We recently went to Panama City and Pensacola to assist with the Hurricane Sarah cleanup. The damage is significant, but the residents are resilient.

We assisted local franchises in helping local families affected by the storm. Our owner, Art Hall, along with seven technicians, took two equipment loaded trucks to assist with the restoration effort. We count it a privilege to be part of the SERVPRO Storm Team.

SERVPRO and the YMCA of Gaithersburg / Germantown Kid's Triathlon

This remarkable event provided excitement for over 100 kids, ages 5-14, from the MD/PA/WV/VA areas. The YMCA of Frederick County Kid's Triathlon both supports and is a result of one of the many fundraising activities that we proudly participate in as volunteers and sponsors. Pictured is one of the swimming races poolside. The weather was ideal as we aided the YMCA with monitoring the course and awarding Finisher Medals. This event held on June 1, 2019, supports many YMCA programs like the "Annual Campaign." Free summer camp to local kids in need and YMCA membership to qualified families in MD are key benefits provided. The Y affords sports and dance programs, full fitness facility, off-site programs for children, transportation, and free community events, and even before/after school childcare. Our entire SERVPRO of Gaithersburg / Germantown group is honored to help with this worthy charitable event and look forward to assisting even more when the YMCA opens a second facility in 2020 in Southern Frederick County.
